What is a remote peering?
A remote peering is the combination of a peering port to an exchange point and the transport of the traffic runs across it to the client’s preferred location. Remote peerings are offered by so-called resellers of exchange points. We have signed partnerships with six providers of exchange points and can therefore offer ten different exchange points.
Why remote peerings from Core-Backbone?
You can obtain our remote peerings in over 46 different data centers worldwide. We combine transport, port and membership into one product. You only sign a contract with us and only get one invoice. Moreover, you save costs since you neither rent a rack at the site of the exchange point nor do you have to provide hardware. For your peering partner it appears as if you are physically there onsite. In addition, we can at one physical port pass on to you several peering VLANs from different exchange points. In that way, you additionally save cross-connect fees.
