Due to the ever-increasing volume of data, Core-Backbone today started a series of actions to increase the capacity of the connections (dark fiber) between Nuremberg and Frankfurt until the end of July from today’s capacity of 200 Gbit/s to 400 Gbit/s.
In addition, we welcome another carrier onboard. Level 3 Communications. Level 3 is a Tier-1 Carrier with a world-wide network. A 20 GBit/s connection is switched there.
