Core-Backbone opens the second location in Berlin. With the data center in Berlin at Alboin-Kontor we have connected to Speedbone Berlin as well as EUnetworks Berlin.

The historical and landmark Alboin-Kontor building was the first factory building of the Schwarzkopf company and Schwarzkopf perfumery. The company produced various types of shampoos and hair care products and was also the world’s first industrial training centre for hairdressers. However, the factory closed after reunification around 1994.

The data center of Speedbone is 1,400 square meters. The entire data center and offices are operated with 100% energy from water, wind and sun. For cooling of the data center, several concepts are linked and 12 climate cabinets are running together.
