Ulrich Köhler
Head of Network and IT-Operation
Ulrich Köhler has been an employee from the very start at Core-Backbone GmbH where he is in charge, as a member of management, of the key department of network and operation.
After his studies in applied computer science at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg he additionally completed training at Core-Backbone GmbH to become a professional computer scientist in systems integration. Over the years he has constantly expanded his acquired knowledge in the fields of network engineering, IT security and service infrastructure.
Besides these tasks, he is now responsible for the departments of product development. In addition, he is very devoted to providing the company’s technical employees with advanced training where he has not shied away from conducting the training himself. As a family father, he lives with his son in the Bamberg region. The passionate motorsport enthusiast enjoys playing volleyball in his free time and likes to spend weekends in the nearby Franconian Switzerland.
