What is it like to start as a developer trainee at Core-Backbone?
Florian has been part of our team for six months now – a good time to take stock of his experience so far. In this interview, he talks about his experiences to date, his day-to-day work, and how he perceives the corporate culture at Core-Backbone.💬
How did you find your first six months at Core-Backbone overall?
The first six months were very good and informative. I have lots of exciting tasks, which have already enabled me to deepen my knowledge. In addition, entertaining team events are organized and everyday work with my colleagues is simply fun.
Do you feel well integrated into your team and the company?
In any case, my colleagues are all really nice and friendly. You feel welcome and accepted right from the start.
Do your duties as a Developer Trainee meet the expectations you had before you started?
Since I already had a great trial day beforehand, the expectations definitely match and even exceed my expectations in some areas.
Do you feel that your professional strengths and skills are being put to good use in your role?
Definitely. Since I already have prior training in IT, I was quickly given more responsibility and am also allowed to work independently a lot.
How do you feel about the working atmosphere, teamwork, and corporate culture at Core-Backbone?
That’s really one of the best aspects. Everyone always sticks together and is up for a bit of fun.
How well do you find it possible to balance vocational school with your everyday work at Core-Backbone?
Very well. I can apply what I learn in my everyday work and at the same time I can contribute what I learn at work to vocational school. I am also given the opportunity, if necessary, to prepare for vocational school at work.
