Seven months at Core-Backbone, time for a quick recap. 
Our colleague Amelie talks about her start in the workforce, her varied responsibilities, and why she especially enjoys working as part of a team.💬 

How have your first seven months at Core-Backbone been? 
The first seven months have flown by! I’ve learned so much and was welcomed into the team with open arms. Even on my trial day, I felt welcome at the team barbecue that evening, and that feeling has stayed with me to this day. 

Do your tasks match the expectations you had before you started? 
My expectations have definitely been exceeded! I have super varied tasks and plenty of freedom to bring my own ideas to the table. Thanks also to my boss Andreas, who always supports me and is happy to join in on my TikToks. 😉 

Do you feel that your strengths and skills are being put to good use?
Absolutely! I feel that my strengths are not only being put to good use, but also valued. Especially as I’m just starting my career, this means a lot to me and gives me extra motivation.

What has surprised you most positively over the last seven months?
I was particularly surprised by how quickly you’re given your own set of responsibilities. At the same time, you know you can always ask for help. And in the end, it really feels great to tackle tasks on your own.

What are your hopes for the coming months?
I hope to continue having a great time with my colleagues and sharing many experiences together. I’m also looking forward to more amazing events that I can share on our social media channels. 😁🙌
