More efficiency behind the scenes at Core-Backbone GmbH

After months of detailed planning, extensive preparation and coordination, the installation of a completely new and comprehensive air conditioning system at our Nuremberg data center has now been successfully completed.

While it may not be the most visible part of our infrastructure, reliable cooling is essential for stable data center operations. The new system improves efficiency, keeps temperatures consistently stable, and further enhances the reliability of our operations.

Benjamin, Head of Development and project lead, explains: “By appropriately dimensioning the system, the impact of a device failure in the data center is reduced to almost zero.”
Installing the new system while keeping the data center fully operational was a challenge: “Throughout the project, our priority was to keep disruptions to our customers, both in terms of accessibility and cooling, to a minimum.”

The new air conditioning system provides a more efficient cooling setup, modern pressure control and greater stability, all working quietly behind the scenes.
