Which moment has shaped Core-Backbone the most during your time here, and why?
I would say there isn’t just one single moment, but rather many experiences that have shaped my time at Core-Backbone to this day. Whether it’s one of the many company events, be it sporty, social, or simply relaxed, where you not only get to know your colleagues better but also their private lives. Or the daily collaboration, characterized by a family-like yet highly professional working environment.
At Core-Backbone, it’s a pleasure every day to contribute your part and actively play a role in the company’s success. This opportunity, in particular, has had a lasting impact on both my professional and personal development—especially because from the very beginning you are trusted to make independent decisions and take on responsibility that is truly valued.

In your view, what sets Core-Backbone apart from other companies?
One could mention above-average rapid service delivery, our global network, or the quality of our infrastructure and hardware. But as Head of Human Resources, I would highlight another valuable aspect:

“Standing still is not an option” – greetings to the marketing department – that would be my answer today if I were asked what a new slogan for Core-Backbone should be 😉.

What has changed the most over the past 10–20 years, and what has stayed the same?
In recent years, we’ve been able to witness our company grow, not just in numbers, but in people. With every new colleague, our team has become more diverse. I also see a trend of more and more women becoming interested in the industry and joining our company.
Together, we have expanded our network, built new connections, and further strengthened our position in the industry. A particular highlight was moving into our new, large office, a modern space whose stylish design perfectly reflects who we are: a willingness to grow and the joy of working in an environment where people genuinely like to be.
And despite all these changes, the most important things remain the same: we continue to be successful, and we still enjoy what we do and the feeling of achieving something as a team. This combination of growth and consistency defines us, and it creates excitement and anticipation for everything that lies ahead.

If Core-Backbone were a person, how would you describe it?
Core-Backbone would be the ultra-fast IT superhero who has already completed three tasks before others have even opened their laptop.
