More power on the DWDM Frankfurt – Amsterdam route

New Nokia hardware has arrived, been successfully tested, and has already been put into action by our network team The upgrade on the FRA-AMS route is now live, built on the Nokia GX Series. Using CHM7 line cards that support 800G wavelengths and deliver up to 1.2 Tbit/s per carrier, the upgrade enables a total maximum capacity of 2 x 1,2 Tbit/s on this route.

We can now move significantly more data over the same fiber, keeping up with continuously growing bandwidth demands. And we’re not stopping here. More routes are already planned for upgrades with new Nokia DWDM equipment.
